Playful Connections

Goal | To learn and understand basic wall construction with both a metal and wood stud. Then introduce a sculpture between the two planes.

Concept | Moire having a water-like appearance, as a result of overlapping material.

Execution | The process began with a variety of methods including sketches and study models, as well as a full-scale prototyping process. The final sculpture resulted in the overlapping of hard-wire mesh at angles to produce a water-like effect.
